Hair Transplantation with FUE Method
The hair loss age has been drawn back to the puberty. The globally accepted minimum age limit for hair transplantation operations is 20. In FUE Method, hairs that are taken out from the hairy area are transplanted one by one to the area without hair. In this method, no bistouries are used, no stitches are put and no scars are left in the area from where hair was taken out. Before the operation, patient’s hair is shortened to 1 mm by haircut. Both the donor and the target area are locally anaesthetized. Since the hair that is taken from the back of the neck are not genetically programmed to shed, hair loss in the transplanted area is not possible.
Hair transplant is a serious surgical operation that needs to be performed under operating room environment. Beauty clinics and any clinic that do not have an operation room are not certified to perform this operation. It is also obligatory to have a plastic surgery specialist In any health unit that performs hair transplants.
